Daily Maintenance of Reduction Motor

Release time:2022-05-05    Click:0

The reduction motor offers a large transmission ratio range, high precision, minimal backlash, and strong load capacity.

It is compact, lightweight, and runs stably with low noise, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

It is widely used in aerospace, energy, electronics, petrochemical, military, robotics, and instrument industries

as well as in textile machinery, printing machinery, packaging machinery, lifting and transport machinery, medical equipment, and food processing machinery

and other fields.

To keep the reduction motor working reliably, regular daily maintenance is necessary.

Maintenance procedures: 1. Oil level check — (1) Cut off the power supply of the reduction motor to prevent electric shock!

Wait for the reducer to cool down! (2) For reducers with an oil level plug, unscrew the plug

, check the oil level, add lubricating oil if needed, and screw the plug back in. 2. Lubricating oil check — (1) Cut

off the power supply of the reduction motor to prevent electric shock! Wait for the reducer to cool down! (2) Unscrew the oil level plug and

take out some sample oil. (3) Check the condition of the lubricating oil — viscosity, contamination, and whether it needs replacing.

If the oil appears contaminated, replace the lubricating oil immediately. 4. For reducers equipped with an oil level plug
